Sooo, apparently, anyone can use skins in their journals. Just checking to see if it works.

And so this isn't just an empty journal, I suppose I'll talk about some other stuff.

Dear Journal,

NaNoWriMo has officially begun, and I'm feeling behind. Ten days in, and I'm only at 6k. I really need to pick up the pace. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm just not quite as in to it this year, which is odd considering the interest at my university. There are no less than seven of us participating!

In a completely non-egotistical way, I'm responsible for those other six. It somehow turned into this big event on campus (well, big for my university, anyways), and the head of the English Department is way excited about it. Now I'm essentially in charge of organizing it on campus. Not that I mind, mind, but it was definitely unexpected.

Here's hoping I'm able to pick things back up again...although not sure how well that will go with my buying Modern Warfare 2 tomorrow. Can't say I'm entirely comfortable with this future purchase, but I'm sure I'll enjoy playing it. Now if only I can get the online game play working on my PS3. Stupid college internet.
